Fitness accounts for 20% of your weight loss and health. You want to be physically strengthened, build endurance and stamina. Start by doing workouts that your body can handle if you haven’t worked out in a while. Circuit training, high intensity workouts will help burn those calories quicker than you expect. On average strive to workout a minimum of 3 days a week maximum 5. Aim to do at least 30 minutes to an hour, you can do brisk walking, jogging, bicycling, dancing, swimming, boxing, or full body workouts.
This week marks the second week of me working out. Some days I do a walk/jog in the neighborhood other days I go to the gym. I may take a class or just utilize the machines. Yesterday’s workout was fun and intense. I did the turbo kick class at 24 hour fitness and burned 650 calories. Group settings are great for working out because you receive encouragement from others in the class and it helps push you to your limit. After the workout I did a 20 minute cool down in the sauna it was my way of clearing my head, meditation, stretching and relaxing those muscles I just used to workout.
Find a workout that works for you and stick with it. It’s always great to switch up workouts because you want to shock your body and changing routine brings a change in results. Today I plan to try the cycling class let’s see how it goes!
Get out and do some exercise today! You’re only as strong as you make yourself to be! Push it to the limit!
